Allows us to keep work going from anywhere!
- Allows us to work remotely.
- Allows for all employees to access the most up-to-date information at any given time.
- Allows us to connect with out-of-town clients or those that aren't comfortable with face-to-face meetings yet.
- The only thing that is a bit cumbersome is that it doesn't seem that you can save files directly to programs like one drive if you aren't using a Microsoft program to generate the document. An example of this would be if I am working in a PDF in our PDF Program I have to first save it to my desktop and then drag it into one drive. I end up with duplicates and that can sometimes make it hard to remember which is the most up-to-date.

Microsoft 365 !!!!
- I love the advanced security & ease of use with this program
- The cloud based business applications make a world of difference.
- A problem I've ran into using Word was that the document needed a lot of modifications in order to be uploaded as an ebook and published on Amazon.
- I hate, hate, hate, hate the fact that you cannot install each app on its own.

Honest Review of M365 Business Premium
IT majorly address mailing solution along with the capabilities of collaboration tools like teams which is a completely secure platform.
Initially, we were using 2 or different collaboration tools like Zoom for video calls and meetings and Slack for chat's but not we only use one platform.
Also, all the employees are familiar with Microsoft Office so it gives the ability of online and offline office, which makes employees always available with or without internet. Their mailing solution is one of the best and secure mailing solutions. Example: In a case, your email is not delivered, then they also tell the reason (like it has gone in spam, or maybe email address incorrect, etc)
- 1 TB of cloud storage on OneDrive per user
- latest versions of Microsoft office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
- advanced cyberthreats with sophisticated phishing and ransomware protection
- In love with Teams as a product
- Encrypts the date hence is very very safe. I believe this is one of the best product
- All the features should be supported in windows Home the way they are in windows 10 pro
- Cost of the product is bit expensive per user basis
- Azure AD P2 license should be given along with this for single sign on feature
It is not suited for organizations who are only looking for a mailing solution or a budget-friendly solution
Cloud based 365
- Cloud base files
- Mobile base- computer or phone or tablet
- One drive For all files
- Subscription costs
Microsoft 365 Business Premium--all the comfort of well known software without the physical box
- Sharing calendars--imperative for me to schedule interviews with my team
- Consistent software updates--we use Word for document templates and interview forms
- Excel allows us to track candidates by week, provide running totals, and track our progress through the year
- There are times that Outlook has archived or removed old emails from the system. occasional something gets lost.
- We have had a few hiccups with OneDrive and sharing information across locations.
- Occasionally the Outlook search feature does not find what we are seeking.
The whole organization uses Microsoft 365 Business Premium
during daily operations. Since we work in consultancy, we handle a lot
of sensitive data from clients. Microsoft 365 Business Premium offers the necessary features for
data privacy and security.
In addition, it offers many other features, such as
share-portal, teams, office applications, and OneDrive. These enable the employees
to work simultaneously with the data and decrease the operational workload.
The features such as Office 365 message encryption, data loss prevention, built-in anti-spam protection, anti-malware protection, and Microsoft Defender are very beneficial for preventing hackers and increasing online security.
The
devices, Microsoft licenses, and users can be all managed by administrators of
the organization. These enable the organization to decrease its costs.
- Data security and privacy; prevention of unauthorized access
- Online cybersecurity
- Decrease costs by bundling multiple Microsoft products
- Accessibility control and user management
- OneDrive and Share portal enable building the knowledge library
- Synchronization problems with OneDrive
- Not enough tutorials for new users
- Pricing model should be changed--too expensive
- Difficult to configure policies
Microsoft 365 Business Premium for Medium Nonprofit
- Communication in real time integrated with document creation and sharing.
- Mobile apps available with full functionality on the go.
- Calendar and Sharepoint functionality is essential to the success of our mission.
- Some features could be much easier to use than they currently are. Some of the apps and other features require a developer or other Microsoft Certified expert and are not as user friendly as we'd like them to be.
- Training is available through third parties but organizations don't always have the time to do this. The self help articles on the Microsoft website are outdated sometimes - and can be a waste of time without you realizing it until it's too late!
- Data integrity could be better managed - many times through the setup process when we upload items in bulk, the upload manager will indicate a successful data transfer but the file will be corrupted (and we didn't notice it until after we deleted the originals).
- End-Point Management
- Active Directory Management through Azure
- Organizational Communication Integration
- Softphone/Teams Integrations
- Account Management
- Administrative Back-End
Best and most essential software for office work
- All official work done by one software.
- From any device, we can share our files through a cloud-based subscription service or SharePoint.
- Work online and offline on multiple devices.
- Total security.
- In SharePoint and Teams tools are not working smoothly.
- I get logged off sometimes for no reason.
- Document collaboration
- Cloud storage
- Easy connection to desktop Microsoft applications
- Poor internet connection may reduce ability to fully use this product
- Clearer way of communicating with others that you have a shared a document/project with them
- Perhaps not fully compatible with older versions of Microsoft desktop applications
Big Things Come in Convenient Software Packages
- Work remotely with ease
- All documents readily available
- This software can be used on any device
- Very user friendly and efficient
- Confidence in Microsoft brand performance and dependability
- Cost effective with always having the latest updates without having to purchase a new software package
- Customer service is outstanding
- Maybe a better instant messaging system with encryption
- Automatic encryption of outlook emails sending and receiving
- Better collaboration with Adobe or Kofax software
Happy User--Great Software
- Collaboration--easy use between teammates
- File management--no more shared drives
- Many internal Integrations--lots of services
- Quarterly updates--or upon release depending your security preferences
- Teams--could benefit from many functions of Slack
- Routine updates may require more frequent training
- External integrations are lacking
Microsoft 365 Business - More Powerful than Google
- Collaboration
- Communication
- Calendaring
- Real time collaboration
- Cloud integration
Win with MS 365 Business Premium!
- Love the integration with Salesforce.com.
- Teams enables us to communicate easily through chat as well as voice.
- Overall integration of all the components makes for a user friendly and familiar interface.
- The quality of accepting an inbound call coming from a laptop where I try to answer it on my cell is sometimes very iffy and the quality is a bit below par. At the same time, that same call accepted on my laptop works perfectly. I'd like to see this be a bit smoother on the mobile device.
- We utilize WebEx for meetings as well within our organization and I feel that the WebEx interface is somewhat more user friendly and intuitive. I'd like to see the Video portion of Teams reflect a bit more of an intuitive interface.
Hard to Beat the Industry Veteran
- Workflow Management.
- Ease of use.
- Fully integrated.
- Allow more personalization within certain data fields.
- Individual price is high.
- Implement auto-save across all applications.
Great Software for Business Use
- Sorting through finances
- Keeping documents organized
- They could have a more simplified interface
- Integrate programs together
Break constraints with Microsoft 365.
It has enabled cross-department collaboration and provided a cultural change in which ideas, documents and workflows move fluidly and flexibly within different teams and stakeholders. Even the humble telephone is now viewed differently, it has merged into a work-space, conferencing tool and support aid provided by the features of Teams and Skype for Business.
- The provision of fast communications; voice, video and messaging through Skype.
- The provision of "Slow Burn" communications through Yammer.
- Licensing can be difficult to understand, there are many features and various differing plans to provide their functionality. For example, Enterprise Mobility and Security can exist as a single license or it may be included within an Office Product.
- Operating in Hybrid modes can be challenging and interfacing between on-premise and the cloud needs careful attention to detail.
Remember to think about the features and the licencing you require. It can be challenging, seek help if you are not sure or you may lose price efficiencies.
Small business review
- Easy to use.
- The email has lots of storage room.
- Sharepoint with editing documents is awesome.
- Cost for license is high.
Just as good as the reputation would have you expect!
The seamless integration of Outlook with all other programs in the suite makes document sharing a breeze. Cloud integration with OneDrive makes collaboration so much easier during month-end tasks that require a reconciliation, roll forward, or schedule to be looked at or contributed to by so many people without copy after copy floating around.
But selfishly, one of my favorite aspects of 365 is dark themes. Not only for aesthetic reasons (which do factor in), but for eye strain too! Cutting down on blue light in any way possible is always a plus, and thanks to darker themes in programs that are nearly always open on my PC (Outlook, Excel, etc.), those long-day headaches are far less frequent.
Something else to keep in mind with 365 is the ability for employees to contribute on another machine if their own issued computer is out of commission. With 365, documents need not be tied down to a machine that is lost, stolen, or in repair.
- Outlook integration: as mentioned in the rest of the review, working with documents, spreadsheets, etc. in Outlook is seamless. Previewing an Excel doc instead of opening can be a lifesaver when there are already 15 windows of Excel open!
- Aesthetics: while not the most important feature of any software, appearance can go a long way to make the experience feel less like a chore, and can also contribute to usability for a newer user.
- Time Management: Outlook works with Calendars, Teams, and Contact books to make meeting scheduling and execution easy, but with 365, the cloud focus allows even greater flexibility for someone working from home or calling into a meeting remotely.
- Memory management: on the more technical side, 365 manages the CPU and RAM of the user's machine in a way that isn't wasteful, and I personally have experienced far fewer crashes in cloud-based documents.
- In Excel: being an accountant, this is obviously the program I use most, and where I notice the most areas for improvement. Microsoft has historically paid attention to its community feedback, but could do so in a more timely manner, and also come back around to some of the issues that have multiple hundred "me too!" responses, but no official fix other than a program restart, or worse, none at all.
- In Microsoft Word: historically, page numbering has been a major issue with Word, and continues to be in 365. The system is confusing, clunky, and many users end up needing to put in manual text boxes to number pages. It's a relatively small issue, but frustrating on the occasions that it arises.
- In Outlook: having a view option for threads that collapses the traditional long-form to something more quickly scan-able would be huge. Compressing the four or five lines of "From", "To", "CC", and "BCC" into a single "John Doe to Jane Smith copying Mike Jones", and offering the longer form for the more traditional types would be an example.
Microsoft 365 Helps me Strive
- In my opinion the best feature for our business is being able to log in to different things remotely. I can access documents on my phone, my tablet, and even my home computer. Quite often I get a call while shopping or what have you with a work question and I love being able to take out my phone and easily answer a question or view a document.
- PowerPoint of course is a necessity in any business that is selling something. We are able to show a presentation to a potential client out in the field easily.
- When I was doing sales before I went into services there was an instance that while at the grocery store I ran into a potential client who started asking me questions on our services. I literally pulled out my phone and played a powerpoint presentation, I was also able to access other documents that were needed, I was able to edit them right on the spot. The next day I had a new client, signed sealed and delivered!!!
- Being able to set up conference calls and sent out invites easily to a group along with call-in number and code. Really easy to use.
- There are times when I have to "Skype" a client or someone and I really find that difficult to use. I don't really know how to improve it, I just don't like it.
- There was one time I was trying to do a mass email to my contacts and that was a pain as it was restricted on how many I could do. It hasn't been a problem since so I am unsure if IT fixed it.
Microsoft 365: Cloud based approach for future applications
- The ability to move from system to system within an ecosystem and continue that chain of work has been extremely useful for me.
- Hosting applications in the cloud have eliminated the need for huge capital investments in the conference rooms.
- I believe in the long run it helps in relieving the change fatigue across the organization, particularly when we move to upgrade our systems.
- Microsoft Office 365 absolutely needs some fundamental infrastructure. Without a reliable internet connection, there have been many instances when people have worked on a document offline and it never got updated. Such user experience pain points put a strain on the transformational changes you want to bring about in the organization.
- I think the biggest challenges will be adoption. There is just a lack of education from Microsoft.
- There will always be security challenges. I don't think these will go away but each concern needs to be seriously addressed.
Get Collaborative with Microsoft 365!
- Collaboration. We can easily share documents we've created between different users and different departments.
- Live updates. Different users have the capability to update the same "live" document.
- Online to offline functionality. Don't like working in Excel online? Just download the document as an Excel file, edit it yourself, then save to the cloud.
- Exact replication of functionality between offline and online programs. Excel commands in Excel Online can be tricky, but not obstructively so.
